We want you to feel confident, supported, and empowered through your journey. Your membership gives you access to a care team and many valuable resources.
Here’s the inside scoop on how to get the most out of your membership:
Understanding What We Treat
We specialize in certain conditions and lab markers within our program.
- You can review the FAQs on our website and visit the “What We Treat” section to better understand the conditions and areas our program focuses on.
- We review and order the tests that fall within that scope.
- For anything outside of that, we’ll help guide you to the right resource.
Example: If you’re looking for additional lab testing, you may use providers outside of Revero. Many of our patients use a PCP, endocrinologist, specialist, or a functional medicine doctor to obtain other lab tests (sometimes covered by their own health insurance as well).
Stay Connected With Your Care Team
Reach out whenever you …
- Have questions about your progress or plan
- Want to talk through nutrition, sleep, supplements, lifestyle habits, or challenges
- Feel stuck or unsure what to do next
Your care team includes both a provider and a health coach.
- Providers: focus on reviewing labs, medical concerns, and medications.
- Health coaches: help guide nutrition, habits, and lifestyle changes. They can also help prioritize your nutrition and lifestyle goals so you know what to tackle first if you feel overwhelmed.
A few helpful things to know about health coaching:
- Your main point of contact is your health coach, who will be helping you implement your nutritional plan and other lifestyle adjustments to promote your progress.
- Coaches maintain their own schedules and often work asynchronously to support patients. Please use Chat to communicate with your care team and allow a reasonable amount of time for your care team to respond.
- Coach weekly check-ins are the minimum expectation. Some patients prefer to chat less. Others chat more. The overall communication cadence is something you and your coach can discuss and agree upon together to ensure accountability and a smooth collaboration.
Stay on Schedule to Maximize Value
If you want to get the most out of your membership:
- Try to complete your labs on time once you receive your lab order via email. Your lab dates are available in the Revero app.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to make changes.
Staying on track means you won’t miss chances to adjust your plan and see progress.
Remember: Health Has More Than One Lever
Nutrition is a big piece of your progress, but it’s not the whole story.
Your membership also supports things like:
- Sleep
- Stress
- Movement
- Daily habits
Not sure what to focus on next? Your coach can help you prioritize.
Remain Behind the Wheel of Your Own Health Journey
You don’t have to figure this out on your own—we’re here to help. However, you are still in charge of your own journey.
If something doesn't resonate right away, that's okay. Explore other options or ideas with your care team. They can help evaluate alternatives that you may be wondering about.
No one ever said a health journey would be easy or clear-cut, especially based on your own unique circumstances. You're still the driver of your own health journey. Our most successful patients communicate their ideas and needs and also actively listen to their care team's suggestions, based on their knowledge and experience, to arrive at next steps together.
Pro Tips
Our graduated members who have achieved their health goals with Revero share these popular tips:
- Attend community meetings when you can. They are not recorded and offer a private place to interact with Dr. Baker, our health coaches, and other community members for support.
- Get your labs done on time! Timely labs and labs review (3 month-mark, 6-month mark, every six months thereafter) will help you track your progress and troubleshoot throughout your journey.
- Message your care team when you encounter obstacles or need guidance, instead of waiting for a weekly check-in.
- Let your care team know if you feel stuck. Ask for clarification when something isn’t clear or you need more help.
- Offer ideas about your needs and preferences that could be helpful for your care team to know.
- Look for overall trends when evaluating your progress. Remember, few journeys are a linear progression upward or happen instantly. Most patients will experience ups and downs over time.
Members who stay engaged, ask questions, keep up with their timelines, and stay behind the wheel of their own health journey by collaborating with their care team through great communication and active listening will get the most value and the best results from their membership.
We’re really glad you’re here, and we’re excited to support you every step of the way.
